It's been too long since I blogged last - too much else happening including some fun Yahoo groups! Anyway, saw the DVD McLibel the other day. I had read the book some time ago and was outraged at the power that a seller of junk food has.
Interestingly, it is all in the news again with Eric Schloser coming to Australia to promote the movie Fast Food Nation, based on his 2001 book.
Here's something to think about - how long are you prepared to wait, for anything, but particularly food? I'd love to get hold of In Praise of Slow, as I think maybe we "feel the need, the need for speed" all together too much.
