Multimodal learning - Sankey et al

Students still after print, but also CDs!!!

Multiple representations - text and video. 10-12 min captures of lectures.

Many students still see themselves as one prefered style of learning - e.g. visual, oral or kinesthetic rather than multimodal.

No evidence that multimodal learning caused extra learning in quatitative data - but in qualititative data more interesting to learn. Benefits expecially for lower performing students.
